Rumorville says that Dell is set to introduce a Macbook Air competitor called the Adamo. According to NYTimes, site Uptownlife.net uncovered the purported razor thin computer via a trademark search. And then of course there’s this teaser website, whose registrar info is DNStination Inc., a name or company that registered Apple’s Mobile Me before it went live. Sounds like a CES release to me.

The word on the street is that Dell will be coming out with a ultra-thin/light MacBook Air killer, the Adamo. This is pure speculation of course but when asked about it, Dell VP Michael Tatelman could only gape and look away like a fly caught in a trap.
There must be something special indeed about the mystery laptop (or desktop or spaceship?) for it to have a dedicated website…we’ll just have to wait and see.
