Gadgetell — ... go; Motorola laid off 3,000 people from its mobile devices division in total.  Like so many companies, Motorola has been hit hard lately.  Motorola took itself from irrelevance to superstar with phones like the Razr.  Who knows where they would have been if the original Moto Rokr, its collaboration with Apple, did not flop.
