Solid-wood flashlight probably isn't as eco-friendly as they claim
DVICE Atom Feed —
... maple. It's powered by a 160 lumen LED, which is pretty slick.
The makers claim that this thing is "eco-friendly," but something tells me that a flashlight made of solid hardwood is far from eco-friendly. Sure, the LED is more energy efficient than a traditional bulb, but when you need to murder so many trees to make these things the eco-friendliness is probably outweighed. It'll set your tree-hating self back $75 when it's available next month.
