Famicom cart camera provides its own smile-catching technology

As you can likely imagine, this mod mostly depends simply on choosing the right cart-sized camera, and goteking found that a standard Sony Cybershot point-and-shoot fit the bill quite nicely, though there's certainly plenty of other possiblities out there (bonus points for anyone able to make an Game Boy cart camera). Tech Blog — ... Here's a first: a Nintendo Famicom cartridge turned digital camera. Basically, gutted the case and crammed a Sony camera inside, while retaining full functionality. Click here to see the Sony VAIO DS. I'm not sure I could bring myself to gut a copy of Final Fantasy III, but goteking, the modder behind this project, never played the game, and so felt no connection to the beloved RPG.
