FCC approves Casio Exilim NX-9250
Krunker —
The FCC has apparently approved the Casio Exilim NX-9250 cameraphone for sale here in the U.S. There isn’t much information available on the phone – about all we know is:
Dual mode CDMA (800/1900MHz)
EV-DO Rev A. support
Bluetooth support
And since we’re talking about an Exilim branded handset, there’s a good chance we’ll see a high quality camera on here too. MobileBurn suspects the handset will show up at Verizon Wireless.

Casio Exilim NX-9250 CDMA cameraphone clears FCC
SlashGear —
Casio are preparing to release another Exilim cameraphone in the US, the NX-9250, most likely through carrier Verizon. The handset, which has just been approved by the FCC, is a dualband CDMA (800/1900MHz) device with EVDO Rev. A support.
However little else about the device is known at present, including perhaps the most interesting feature: the camera. Given that Exilim is the brand under which Casio markets its standalone digital cameras, it’s reasonable to assume that the NX-9250 will have a high megapixel count and, hopefully, decent optics.
Other than that, all we know is that the handset has Bluetooth. Earlier this year, Casio’s 8.1-megapixel W63CA, for Japanese carrier KDDI, ...
Samsung's 8-Megapixel Pixon coming to U.S.
Boing Boing Gadgets —
... subsidized in the U.S. by AT&T;, according to Cellphone Signal:
Today, FCC gave is the information about a new version of ths Samsung Pixon coming to USA market. This is the Samsung M8800L. This specific version of the Samsung Pixon wil come now with 1900 and 850 3.5G, only compatible with AT&T; bands
Oddly, the Pixon has GPS and geo-tagging, but no Wi-Fi. If only HSDPA were widespread enough to make that a reasonable proposition.

Samsung Pixon with AT&T 3G frequencies spotted on FCC
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis —
It seems the Samsung Pixon won’t be a T-Mobile exclusive “thing,” only. The FCC has revealed the “L” variant of the 8 megapixel cameraphone, sporting the right frequencies (850 and 1900 MHz) for AT&T’s 3G network. No word on date, but I guess AT&T is kinda late to push Samsung’s all-touchscreen device for the holiday shopping season now. Still, this could mean the first quarter of next year will be a promising one for U.S. mobile users. CES is coming, and it’s kinda safe to bet we’ll see AT&T and Samsung going all official with the Pixon during the event. Stay tuned…
