... I have been enjoying the loaner HP Mini 1000 Mi for a while now but it wasn’t until this week that the power of this 10-inch netbook was revealed in its full potential. That happened when I installed Windows 7 RC on it and it really has been a great performer since the install. I have used the Mini 1000 for several mobile outings and it’s worked well with the exception of battery life. The 3-cell battery is just not big enough to provide more than 2.5 to 3 hours of life and that’s cutting it a little close for my outings. I don’t like to carry power ...
