Kindle 2 gets dissected
I4U News — ... If you are curious what kind of components are hiding under the covers, you can see photos of a Kindle 2 dissection on iFixit. Of course there is the electronic paper screen, which does not need power to display the last information, which Amazon uses to display the initial setup instruction.
