Sharp unveils LCD panel with integrated memory function

The company currently conducts tests in a supermarket in Osaka, which can now change prices easily via the wireless LAN the panels are equipped with. Sharp apparently denied giving technical details but said their panels are based on cholesteric LCD material and that they can only be used indoors (at temperatures between -25 and +55°C).
