Apple are not stupid, they know that the iPhone 3G is aimed at taking on Blackberry’s business market. Apple has done this by improving security, e-mail and by allowing third-party software to run on its platform. This challenge will not be taken lightly by Research in Motion; they have a number of new handsets coming onto the market which they hope will take the fight to the iPhone 3G.

One thing is for sure, Apple is not stupid, they are well aware the iPhone 3G is drawing people from the BlackBerry, and that it is aimed at the BlackBerry business customer.
Will we see Research In Motion fight back in style? Redesign the BlackBerry perhaps? Who knows?

Personally I believe all this guff can only lead to good things for the mobile phone consumer, as sooner or later the way this mobile war is shaping up, we may start seeing a price war open up as well…now wouldn’t that be good?
