Google Mobile App 0.3.142 arrived in Apple's iPhone App store this week. Trouble is, the application's lauded voice recognition feature CAN'T UNDERSTAND BRITISH ACCENTS. The UK's Daily Telegraph newspaper reported that when most Brits say "iPhone," the app understands "Einstein" or "kitchen sink."

I asked it to find my nearest pizza take away and it came back with something about volcanoes [...] I'll have to try to put on my best American accent to get it to work.
This last is particularly funny. Said with the right accent, the word "Kent" comes out with a subtle, but obscene, difference.
