... have signed a deal making the latter the exclusive carrier in the same manner that Sprint are in the US, but given the ongoing rumors that that is the case, we’re leaning towards believing it. ... yet, but it look like Europe has nothing to worry about ’cause we would bet the farm Vodafone will be supporting the upcoming handset. There is, of course, no confirmation from Palm yet but it makes all of us here in the States hopeful that maybe, just maybe, the Pre will be available on other carriers besides Sprint sometime soon. *fingers crossed* ...

Rumour - Palm Pre on Vodafone?

... on the Palm Pre.
PreCommunity spotted that the 2 phones available both had a Vodafone SIM card in and Vodafone ES in another. Vodafone ES was listed as an active WWAN carrier on another device. Due to Apple signing up with O2 in the UK for their iPhone it does make you think that Vodafone will be doing anything they can to get in on the Pre here in the UK.
This however is no official announcement and just an observation to get us all talking

... and I expect that to be the trend with the journalists at the fair. Expect lots more love shown for the Pre out of Barcelona. Apple could have a real fight on their hands if developers can get behind it and compete with the App Store.
One big question remains, will the GSM model launch worldwide at launch, which is expected to be in the first half of this year? And if so, how many of those GSM phones come back the US on AT&T and T-Mobile?
