Luckily for our ever-congealing soft and mushy brains, the 35mm canister is actually an oversized replica, which is pretty trippy no matter which way you spin it. ... cameras really are, but if that cup and saucer is any indication, they ain’t small. Still, the classic shape and coloring of the film canister version is very appealing. You can tell people that’s where you keep your large format negatives.
Unfortunately I doubt they’re available outside Korea, but who knows? Maybe the demand for freaky 35mm point-and-shoots will suddenly spike and specialty stores will pick them up.

This camera is known as the Transformer Camera and although no Transformer robots are seen, I guess it is “more then meets the eye”. At this time, this camera is only available in Korea for 27,000 KRW (or $20 USD). If you want to buy this camera and are not in Korea, you can always turn to Ebay or a similar online auction site as auctioneers often post regional items to sell globally.

However, maybe if you purchase it and kept a close enough eye on it, something interesting might happen. That is, besides take pictures. Unfortunately, the camera might be a little hard to get a hold of for those of you that still enjoy cameras that use film and are looking to purchase it. It’s being sold in Korea and Korea only, as of now at least. There it sells for 27,000 KRW, which translates into about $20.

It just makes you wonder if the real film you put in the fake film is real and not another camera in disguise that takes another even smaller film that is actually another camera, and so on. It could get complicated

I wouldn’t go as far as calling this a spy camera, it is pretty tiny, but an oversized roll of film definitely stands out. What it is, is more like a kind of sick joke, at the expense of poor, old, soon to be extinct film. It is after all, a roll of film that transforms into a digital camera.
