There’s no mention on the price or availability, but we can guess the folks in the West will have to wait on a lot before they can get their hands on the Mini DV. Ah! some someone in the West will better it soon!

Battery life is good for up to two hours and video is captured in the AVI format, most likely XviD or some variation. It’s available for $85 at YoTang.com if you’re interested. I, myself, would consider one of these for walking the floor of a large event like CES, but the price would have to be closer to $40 in order to dovetail with my rampant frugality.
