Yes, those are LCD TVs on the front (not touchable, sadly) showing content from the (almost certainly) jailbroken iPhones mounted on top; yes, each getup weighs 85 pounds because it includes a car battery to power the display. I can see how the illusion would be broken by a 500-foot charging cable trailing behind them as they trick-or-treat their way around the subdivision. ...

... These two gentleman have made giant, fully functional iPhone costumes. Each costume is made of a 42-inch LCD screen, connected to an iPhone with modified software to mirror the output on the LCD. They’re powered by car batteries, weigh in at a mammoth 85 pounds a pop, and cost around $1000 to create, for each one.
I’m sure “slide to unlock” will go over a treat with all the ladies (or fellas, if that’s what they’re into).
