A Hewlett-Packard lançou hoje seu primeiro aplicativo na App Store, simples mas bastante útil. O HP iPrint Photo, como o nome já diz, permite que usuários imprimam fotos remotamente de iPhones e iPods touch para impressoras da marca que possuam a tecnologia wireless embutida.
Totalmente gratuito, o app facilita ao máximo a impressão de fotos 10×15cm — você pode tirar fotos no seu iPhone (3G) e tê-las impressa em poucos minutos.

Si Microsoft ha caído en el mundo de las aplicaciones para iPhone, otra de las grandes como es HP no podía faltar. HP presenta HP iPrint Photo, la aplicación que encuentra vía WiFi impresoras que estén conectadas a la red local.
Por las características que han publicado, parece que solo funciona con impresoras WiFi de HP y solo acepta imágenes JPEG para imprimir, por lo que las capturas de pantalla que puedes hacer con él no se imprimen, también hay limitación en las impresiones, acepta un tamaño máximo de 10×15cm, claro que con 2 megapíxeles de cámara tampoco puedes imprimir con una calidad aceptable algo más grande. ...

The folks at Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) have released a brand-new iPhone app called HP iPrint Photo. I have to say, I’m not surprised at all to see this new offering from HP, especially after the launch of The KODAK Gallery App last week. Perhaps HP was trying to beat KODAK to the punch and they were delayed… who knows… With that said, this app is all about printing, whereas the KODAK app offered online image gallery storage, printing and more all at a location outside of the home.

This week, HP unveiled their new line of four wireless “Magic Frame” printers for the consumer market in Asia. In tandem with this, they’ve also released an iPhone application that allows you to directly print photos from your iPhone or iPod touch. Neat right? Well, the app was released in December of 2008 so it really has been a while! This is the perfect app (perfect as it is the ONLY app that will work in tandem with an HP wireless printer) for printing photos from your iPhone / iPod touch via WiFi.
