WMPowerUser discovers that there's more than just the Touch Diamond2 and Touch Pro2 coming to HTC's 2009 lineup. The good news? Most of them are Windows Mobile 6.5. The most interesting is the Firestone (above), which is the successor to the Touch HD, and runs a 3.6-inch WVGA display, 600MHz processor and Windows Mobile 6.5. WMPoweruser caught wind of HTC’s handset roadmap on a Chinese site and grabbed what specs they could through translation. Long story short: If you were impressed by the HTC Touch Pro 2 and Touch Diamond 2, you’ll like what else HTC has in store for 2009. Here’s a summary:
The 3.6-inch WVGA Whitestone will be available in both GSM and CDMA versions on WinMo 6.1 with a 528MHz CPU.
The GSM Firestone has the same screen as Whitestone, but adds an 8MP camera, WinMo 6.5 and uses a 600MHz CPU.
