HTC Magic Now on Pre-Order at Vodafone UK

You might remember Will’s post from earlier today about the HTC Magic going on pre-order starting tomorrow, April 18th… Well, out-of-the-blue and as a bit of a surprise to me, the Android-Powered HTC Magic is now available for pre-order at Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) UK! The device is still expected to go live in the UK on May 1st, so I guess the good folks at Vodafone had everything in order and wanted to get pre-sales started sooner than later (even if it was only early by a few hours!). In case you missed it yesterday, all of the lucky Android users over in the UK can now pre-order the HTC Magic thanks to the folks over at Vodafone (NYSE: VOD). Not only that, but the device comes free on a minimum £30/mth contract. Sheesh, I can’t get over how lucky those folks are… Such a nice device for FREE! In Canada we’d be looking at a few hundred at least for the device… PLUS $40/$50/$60 or more per month for voice/data.
At any rate, one small (ok, not so small) detail I forgot to mention yesterday… All pre-orders of the HTC Magic should start shipping by May 5th. So, if you are one of fortunate souls to have a pre-order in ...

The HTC Magic, Sapphire, G2, over in the states they can’t seem to make up their mind what the second Android based smartphone will be called or when it will become available. But over here in the UK it’s a different story.
Here in the UK, Vodafone now has the HTC Magic up for pre-order with that always attractive price of absolutely nothing; yes the HTC Magic comes for free when opting for a £30 per month plan.
More good news as well, Vodafone also states on the pre-order pay that if you pre-order now they will aim to deliver the HTC Magic by the 5th of May. ...
