... as HIDs/joysticks. Some custom C# code acts as the interface between them and the Media Center, with buttons mapped to different keystrokes.
The last step is redecorating the two dance mats with some suitably large icons. Who knows, perhaps this is the best way to get fit while watching TV. If you’re interested, the source code is free to download and tweak for your own projects.

Not bad at all, assuming you’re not big on the whole “sitting down and passively enjoying media content without moving” thing. On the bright side, you could burn tens of calories this way. Tens! Full source code can be found at the link below if you’d like to build your own.

... but he had to best it -- by fashioning a controller for Windows Media Center so large that one would need an entire appendage to get any use out of the thing. Our intrepid modder achieved his goal by stitching together two PS2 Dance Dance Revolution mats, a PS2-to-PC controller converter box, and some homebrew source code. What can we say about this?
