Boing Boing Gadgets — These colorful, slightly nipple-like gadgets are called Good Egg Talking Clocks — they're alarm clocks that tell you what time it is in a Japanese human voice when you push the little nob. Also, to wake you up, it says "Kokekkoko!!" Which is the sound roosters make in the morning. Like cock-a-doodle-do, Japanese-style. It goes on sale at the end of the month, probably only in Japan.
