The main idea behind MRAM is that, eventually, the technology will be cheaper to produce, will run faster and more efficiently.
But yeah, this stuff is years away from getting out of the labs—think perpetual Google beta—so it’s best to keep some distance now. Who knows, by then an asteroid may have crashed into the planet and destroyed all signs of life!
