Iomega lanzó una actualización para su StorCenter ix2 NAS. Ahora se podrán descargar archivos .torrent, tener acceso remoto y soporte nativo para el Apple File Protocol (AFP). Tendrá conexión Ethernet, USB 2.0 y podrá soportar hasta 2TB de almacenamiento a través de discos SATA II.
El acceso remoto será gratuito el primer año y después tendrás que pagar US$9.95 por año. Lo mejor de todo es que podremos controlar nuestras descargas de archivos .torrent incluso cuando apaguemos nuestro ordenador, el dispositivo las seguirá descargando y gestionando y la tendremos cuando queramos.
