Apple Officially Unveils iPhone 3GS

... the iPhone 3GS. This model features a 3.0-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities (30fps VGA), 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 3D graphics chip, integrated Nike+ support, voice control, and an impressive 5-hours of 3G talk time. Available June 18th, priced at $199 (16GB) / $299 (32GB).
There are some surprises, too -- holding down the home button now enables a new voice control interface that lets you do everything from make calls to control iTunes.

The 16GB version of the iPhone 3G S will cost $199 when launched with the price going up to $299 for the 32GB iPhone 3G S. The launch day for the new iPhone 3GS will be 19th June in the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Spain with 80 other countries shortly following by August.
If for any reason you want to buy a new iPhone 3G (not the 3G S) then the 16GB model will now cost $99.

The iPhone 3GS will come in 16GB, 32GB models and will be priced at $199 and $299 respectively. And yes, the new iPhone will come installed with iPhone 0S 3.0 just to let you know.

New iPhone 3GS Announced at WWDC 2009

The iPhone 3GS is said to load apps around 2.9 times faster than the old iPhone. Features include OpenGL ES 2.0, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA support, 3 MP camera with autofocus and 30fps VGA video recording. Theres also Voice activation features, a new digital compass app and improved battery life.
