... While this iPhone next-generation render doesn't have a slide-out keypad, it is however, "flatter, even more tapered and slender version of the current one." Hopefully, Apple does actually release a new iPhone sometime this summer that builds upon its predecessors.
The market keeps growing with what they have now, so it won't make sense for them to go through a radical design change just yet.

... shows these images, but are to be taken with a grain of salt. If this is the next generation iPhone its pretty sexy and it looks to have a bigger screen and the silent toggle switch moved.
As said before, take this with a grain of slat until Apple finally announces the next iPhone.
It won't be that thin, and that complicated speaker grille between bezel and touchscreen doesn't look very Appley. Apart from that, though, it's a damn good mockup!

... are asking for a slide out physical keyboard it somehow seems like Apple will concentrate on design rather then adding more bulk to it.
These pictures show an even sleeker looking phone that looks like it was tested for aerodynamics in a wind tunnel. But, some would find this a disappointment as they are looking for big changes and not just a few mm knocking off. I think the above is a good representation of what we will see in a few months.

It makes sense, really. The iPhone is selling like hotcakes, so we shouldn't expect a huge redesign at the moment. After all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But this is just enough of an upgrade to get the Apple faithful to go replace their current, perfectly good models. And isn't that what product refreshes are all about?
