... CrunchGear reports that Softbank is attempting to push sales of the Apple iPhone 3G and intend on offering the 8GB version for free with a two year contract while on the same two year contract you can have the 16GB Apple iPhone 3G for just $100.
This offer by Softbank will run as of today until the end of March and furthermore, data plans for the Apple iPhone 3G are being discounted to roughly $45.00 rather than the usual $60.00 per month.
