Yep, that's a matte black casing with no chrome border, a what looks to be a front-facing camera, and iPhone OS 3.0, so it certainly lines up with what we've heard -- but it wouldn't exactly take a Photoshop master to do this one up either. Yeah, we’re suffering just as much anticipointment over all these possible maybe blurry photoshopped “leaks” of the 3rd gen iPhone as you are. But the wait for WWDC’s Monday keynote — for the real answers! — is just about driving us batty anyway, so we might as well distract ourselves.

... Though we're only days away from the official unveiling (WWDC), that hasn't stopped early testers from leaking new pictures of the 3rd-generation iPhone. In these shots, you'll notice that the chrome bezel is gone and the new matte casing.

... has got matte black casing with no chrome border, the round hole in the front could be a front facing camera and the screen shows it to be using iPhone OS 3.0.

Another photo from the same source gives a few shots of iPhone video chat. Still these are unconfirmed leaks and we have to wait till Monday at WWDC to see the official photos.

The current design theme for Apple’s next generation seem to be a matte case taking the place of the current plastic enclosure and doing away with the chrome border for a softer, matte finish. A French Blog posted what it believes to be are spy pics of Apple’s 3rd generation iPhone and thanks to Engadget, the pics have been mirrored. With WWDC 09 only a day away, we’ll know very soon whether or not these images are actually of the new iPhone.
