CrunchGear — Tokyo-based electronics company Murata yesterday unveiled a small humanoid robot [JP] that can unicycle forward and backward and is also able to stop without falling over. Boing Boing Gadgets — I know none of us will ever buy the new "Murata Girl", an updated version of the older "Murata Boy" robot, but the commercial for the Boy above is far creepier than the pictures of the Girl would imply. (I'd link the picture of the Girl, as well, but I've already swiped plenty from CrunchGear already.)
