LaCie claims that 5big Network uses 25 percent less energy and is 37 percent quieter than four-drive RAID towers on the marketplace. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems too. The LaCie 5big is priced for business customers, costing around $899.99 for the 2.5TB version, the 5TB version is priced at $1,399 and the 7.5TB model costs $1,899. Source
