Ainda não foi desta vez que a Apple implementou uma nova forma de organizar aplicativos na Home Screen do iPhone (com pastas ou coisa do gênero), mas o segundo beta do OS 3.0 já traz ao menos uma novidade: suporte a até 11 páginas de apps, contra as nove atuais.
A informação foi divulgada pelo The Loop Blog e confirmada pelo MacRumors:

The actual changelog is a mystery but couple of early testers found a new worthy feature in this beta. iPhone can now hold up to 11 pages of apps and games which equates to 180 apps as compared to the previous firmware’s 9 pages for 148 apps.
Why did they do? Maybe Apple wants you to install more useless apps to kill your time.

If this is an April Fools’ Day joke, let me be the first in line to say, “Quit playing games with my heart. It’s not fair.” I have exactly 157 apps that I use all… the… time and to tease me with this wonderment of increased functionality is cruel at best, evil at worst.
In all seriousness, this is far too dumb to be a joke. Who has (and uses regularly) more than 148 apps?
