... Ion platform, but as per latest report Lenovo might well be the first one to use the Ion platform for its netbooks. According to Chinese-language Commercial Times, Lenovo plans to launch 11.6-inch and 12.1-inch netbooks combining Intel's Atom processor and Nvidia's Ion platform in the second quarter of this year. No word on whether the 12" Ion model will be Lenovo S20 or not. That's not all, Lenovo is also evaluating the possibility of launching a 13-inch Ion model.

A Chinese newspaper is claiming that Lenovo has signed a deal with NVidia to use their Ion platform on two netbooks over 10 inches. While that size would stretch the netbook category, Lenovo is reported to be preparing a 11.6-inch and a 12.1-inch notebook that uses the Intel Atom processor and NVidia Ion graphics. Neither Lenovo nor NVidia will confirm nor deny this rumor.
