Lenovo's X1 for China is full of KIRF, win

Lenovo’s Vaio P twin does what Vaio P can’t, calls itself Pocket Yoga
Tech Ticker — ... Flickr stream. Images uploaded on the stream shows Pocket Yoga in full glory. As seen in the sketch, the netbook will sport a touchscreen display. It will also have a stylus and the possibility to flip the screen backwards and use it as a tablet (no tilting possible though because of the design). Specifications are not revealed yet but our guess is that it will try to best Vaio P with superior specs and a decent price.   [Via Electronista] Advertisement: Samsung Hub ...

Shots Leak of Lenovo Pocket Yoga Netbook Concept, Looks Like it Actually Fits In a Pocket [NetBooks]
Gizmodo — ... one of the Flickr captions, that belt also turns into a mouse. Mind blown. All we've got not are these shots, so we'll have to see what pops up in terms of concrete details. UPDATE: And what popped, a few hours later, was that this is just an internal design concept created two years ago by Lenovo's designers, according to Johnson Li @ Lenovo. So that's where the idea for the shape of the Vaio P came from. [Flickr via Electronista] ...

Shots Leak of Lenovo Pocket Yoga Netbook, Looks Like it Actually Fits In a Pocket [NetBooks]
Gizmodo — ... is not an exaggeration. It still looks like it's filling that zone halfway between concept and actual product (as the actual concept sketches that accompany the shots on Lenovo's Flickr stream would seem to indicate) but it does look cool, with a ultra widescreen, apparently touch-sensitive display that may be able to flip around into tablet mode. All we've got not are these shots, so we'll have to see what pops up in terms of concrete details. [Flickr via Electronista] ...

More photos of the Lenovo ultraportable, apparently called ‘Pocket Yoga’
CrunchGear — ... machine very expensive. An overhead shot of the keyboard. Looks like the pointer stick is in the upper right-hand corner. Can’t quite tell where the mouse buttons are located, though. And finally, a look at some dainty hands typing. Other than these images, other details are non-existent. The screen on the device doesn’t even give any hints as to what operating system would be used. Lenovo Pocket Yoga [Flickr via Electronista]

Boing Boing Gadgets — Ladies and Gentlemen, we are in a Do Want situation. No announcement, no specs, just a giant fat gallery at Lenovo's official Flickr feed. Now that's how to show off a new product! From the photos, it's obviously a stylus-touchscreen model. lenovophotolibrary's photostream [Flickr via Electronista]

Lenovo leaks Pocket Yoga mystery netbook pics
Engadget — ... The mysterious netbook that Engadget Chinese hepped us to from the floor of Lenovo's Beijing office now has a name -- if little else. Images have surfaced on the company's photostream with this bad boy in a number of compromising positions, showing off its convertible design and touchscreen stylus capabilities. Tantalizing, yes? That's it for details, but be sure to hit up that gallery for those red hot pics. [Via Electronista] ...

Lenovo Pocket Yoga touchscreen netbook
SlashGear — ... belt, used to keep the Pocket Yoga closed, but that also doubles as a wireless mouse.  Full specifications are still unknown, but there’s definitely a webcam and what looks to be some sort of mouse pointer diamond embedded in the top-right of the keyboard.  Hopefully Lenovo let slip some more details soon, including whether this is a design concept or a netbook headed for production. Mystery Lenovo “pocketbook” gets you centered
jkOnTheRun — ... is a real device, but it looks pretty cool nonetheless.  Based on the hinge in the pictures, it looks like the screen folds over the back of the device and uses a stylus so it’s a teeny-tiny Tablet in that regard.  Let’s hope this makes it to a real product simply because it’s cool to see Lenovo challenge our expectations as Sony did with the Vaio P.  Speaking of Vaio P there may be one appearing in the very near future.  :) (via Electronista)  (Photos from LenovoPhotoLibrary Flickr page) ...

Lenovo Pocket Yoga netbook breaks cover
T3.com All — ... PC with full QWERTY keyboard, a leather-bound case and most impressive of all, a convertible design that flips backwards, should you want to use it as a touchscreen tablet. Throw in a trackpoint-like controller, USB connectivity and webcam and this is an all-rounder to match Ian Botham in his heyday. As soon as the official announcement breaks on the Lenovo Pocket Yoga netbook, you'll be the first to know, In the meantimme, enjoy those lovely images. Lenovo Pocket Yoga netbook is slick and small
DVICE Atom Feed — ... netbook, one of the tiniest little laptops I've ever seen. There's not much info on this sexy little devil yet, but it looks to have a nice wide screen that can be flipped around and act as a touchscreen tablet, and it's very close to being small enough to fit in a pocket comfortably, but not quite. It looks slick and is sure to be expensive, as is the way with things moving towards the space between two types of device. Electronista, Via Gizmodo

Another pocket-able system – the Lenovo Pocket Yoga
Krunker — ... from Sony? A follow-up to the VAIO P already? Um NO. This little device is in fact from the folks at Lenovo and is currently known as the “Lenovo Pocket Yoga” (Boy I hope they change the name!) Little is known about the device – other than it appears to have a touch-enabled display. Hopefully the “Yoga” (I really want to call it “Yoda”) won’t be priced into the stratosphere like the Lifestyle VAIO P.   [Check it out via GadgetHeat, NetbookTech] Technorati Tags: Lenovo, ...

Lenovo’s Tiny Touchscreen Netbook
Geek In Disguise — ... A nice find by Electronista is the Lenovo Yoga notebook which looks like a worthy competitor to the Sony Vaio P-Series but it seems it’s merely an experiment. Shame as it looks tiny but very cool encased in leather and with a reversible screen that makes it a touchpad. Of course, doing a mockup of such an intricate design is a far cry from engineering – and then doing it at a price people are willing to pay. ...

Lenovo Pocket Yoga Netbook

Lenovo's Pocket Yoga touchscreen netbook looks like a hot deal
Gizmodiva.com — ... it has a touchscreen for a stylus and the display is also capable of flipping backwards to use it as a very small tablet. This is all just from the rumor mill though. There isn't any information on the technical specification of the Pocket Yoga. It is safe to assume that it will have an Intel Atom or similar chip. Maybe there will be a webcam too. Hopefully, the Pocket Yoga will make its official appearance soon. [Electronista]

Lenovo Pocket Yoga netbook is super tiny and convertible to a tiny tablet
TechChee.com, shop online for gadget, gizmo and hot tech stuff — ... in a leather-bound shell. I especially like how it can be converted into a very small tablet that presents a touchscreen and lets users use stylus on it. At the moment this tiny netbook still hasn’t got any detailed specifications yet. Perhaps you could expect that it’d be powered by Intel Atom processor. It’ll also have a built-in webcam, and also a trackpoint controller to back up the touch display. via electronista Written By TechChee.com, Lenovo Pocket Yoga netbook is ...

Lenovo's netbook concept: Nice form factor
Core77 — ... the screen tilts the keyboard towards you, as seen below. It also looks like the hinge rotates on a second access, giving you tablet-like functionality. And the leatherbound casing is a nice touch. Again, we're just trying to draw attention to the physical design features; there's no word on whether this thing will actualy be released. Lenovo has stressed that this is a concept from '07, parts of which may make their way into future models. via electronista(more...)
