... Photoshop without a tablet, and while I’m not sure how effective one this small would actually be, it’s about a million times better than not having one and having to rely on the touch pad or trackpoint nub for pixel pushing. Not surprisingly you’ll be spending about $3,000 for the base configuration of the W700, and depending on RAM or SSD hard drive upgrades, you’ll probably even be spending a lot more than that.

... yeah, it also has an optional Blu-Ray drive. With specs that crazy, a tablet, full keyboard, 7-in-1 card reader, optional Compact Flash reader, and 5 USB ports. I wouldn’t want to see the price of the ThinkPad W700 with all features maxed out, though I’m sure it’d be worth it. The third degree burns on my lap from using it, however, might not be worth it.
The ThinkPad W700 will be available in September.

Reader The Site Guy said it best: “its a f*cking frankenstein… they threw design out the window and pumped it up with steroids.” That’s why this monstrosity is barely a laptop, and who knows how long the battery will last? The Lenovo ThinkPad W700 will be out by September, and will start ata $2,978. So you’d better start saving! Check out what the rest of the world has to say:

... next to the track pad.
It's enough to make anyone who uses a tablet on any kind of regular basis green with envy. They'll pay dearly for it, however, as this guy will set you back $2,978 when it's released next month. The only problem that I can see is that when you type, you'll be resting your right wrist on the tablet. You've got to assume that the tablet will be turned off when not in use to make the computer usable. Otherwise, start saving your pennies, artists.

... You won’t find any cramped fingers with the W700 since it features a full-sized keyboard and a numeric keypad, a large trackpad (I’d rather rely on a mouse though), a trackpoint and a WACOM tablet. Connectivity options include 5 USB ports, VGA, DVI, Display Port, Ethernet, Audio, ExpressCard, and a multi-slot card reader. Prices start from $3,000 and can only hit the sky from here.
