LG Korea has added a new Blu-Ray 5.1 Home Theater combo to their range with the introduction of the HB954TBW that comes equipped with an iPod dock. Unfortunately, there’s not much information given at the moment, but from what we heard this iPod dock will accept all iPod models allowing you to listen to any song within your devices. The HB954TBW will be sold in Korea for around 1,299,000 KRW ($1,038).

When it launches it will be horrendously expensive - $1,050 - but the idea of having a slide out iPod dock built into a Blu-ray player might just get me to officially sign on to the ways of HD. Unfortunately, a US or UK launch date is unknown at this point, but considering the adoption of all things iPod in the aforementioned countries, I’m confident the player will make ship outside of Korea sometime soon.
