Light Peak technology allows computers and other gadgets connected together using fiber optic lines. But fiber optic cables have been known to be very costly. Even though, Intel could make this technology mature and out in the market next year, but I doubt if it’ll get as popular as others as it could be restricted by its expensive costs of implementation. Anyway, it’s a good idea to continue striving for higher data transfer speeds.
