There's no release date for the rest of the world, but Japan will get the DSi in white and black come November 1st for around $180. Nintendo's handhelds have never been region-locked though, so there should be nothing stopping you from importing one.
A rather bittersweet announcement. I'm very partial to my lime green DS Lite, and will be sad to part with it. It matches my favorite shirt.

This is very interesting, Nintendo has a new DS coming out (the DSi) - has a camera, web browser and you can download games. This is a super powerful computer with a lot of add-ons, great for hacking, great for homebrew stuff and all likely pretty cheap.
