Logic Wireless to show off cell phone with built-in projector at CES

T-Mobile and Logic Wireless are getting ready to roll out the Logic Bolt, which is what at first glance appears to be an overall basic looking candybar style handset, however the Bolt also includes a built-in projector. According to the release, the Bolt will be the “World’s First Projector Phone.“ The projector will offer a 640 x 480 VGA resolution and can cast the image anywhere from 36 to 64-inches. Using the projector, it was mentioned that you can expect a battery life of “more than 2 hours.“

Logic Wireless has shown off their new mini projecting Logic Bolt mobile handset at CES 2009. Logic Wireless gained all rights to the Logic Bolt from ChinaKing which was seen back in early summer 2008.
The Logic Bolt is quad-band GSM with a 3 megapixel camera and can project a display size of 36 to 64 inches, Bluetooth, and with a claimed talk time of two to three hours.
Logic Wireless plans to ship a dual mode GSM/CDMA set featuring live video conferencing with x4 brighter projector and Windows Mobile rather than the present Java operating system at some stage in the future.

Logic Wireless released the first Pico projector embedded inside a phone last week at CES 2009.
At first glance, Logic's Bolt (no relation to Usain) seems to present a dilemma for the early advocates of the Picos, like myself. Do they dump their cool new accessory, as well as their favorite phone, in favor of the super-integrated phone or should they wait until a bigger phone maker gets in on the game?
