In fact, take a lap around your local colleges in the summer and watch as they discard hundreds of old iMac G3s, Quicksilver G4s and ugly 21-inch monitors from the 1999-era. All this can be salvaged for parts that you can use on your next DIY project. Just make sure that everything appears to be working normal . Link
