IO-DATA has decided to released a Japan-only Mac TV. Dubbed as the GV-MACTV, the device is actually a digital TV tuner for Mac. The gadget connects to Mac via USB 2.0. Measures only 98mm x 92mm x 25mm, the IO-DATA Mac TV features a B-CAS slot card that can be controlled through the Apple Remote. No info on pricing so far. [ IO-DATA ]

The device hooks up Mac via USB (2.0) and measures 98 (W) x92(H) x25(D) mm, with a B-CAS slot card that can be monitored through the Apple remote. Also, the card receives terrestrial digital broadcasting signals and brings HD TV shows to your Mac, with the only downside being it’s restricted availability (only in Japan for the time being). While that is that, the product pricing is also kept hush hush!
