MacBook Mini concept from Isamu Sanada
Gizmo Watch —
... are anything absolute, then perhaps it would look something like designer Isamu Sanada’s MacBook Mini concept. The MacBook Mini isn’t from the thinnest world, and measures 5.4-inches thick when folded. On opening, however, it is a full-fledged notebook, with a 10-inch LED display, keyboard and a trackpad that stretches out on an extra fold. The concept netbook here doesn’t seem to have an optical drive but it does has a 128GB SSD.

... 10-inch LED-backlit display and 128GB SSD, all in something just 28 x 13.8 x 1.68cm.
Of course, actually putting something like this concept into production would result in a machine likely more expensive than the VAIO P, which is already pushing most peoples’ limits for what they’d spend on a netbook-style device. So, don’t expect to see this in your nearest Apple store anytime soon.

An Apple netbook? Macbook Mini dual-folding concept by Isamu Sanada

... but with a third piece: a tray that folds out with a touchpad on it.
There's something about that touchpad tray that doesn't jive with an Apple design. It's such a small pad with a lot of wasted space. Maybe it'd look better if the whole tray itself was a touchpad? Or how about doing away with the tray altogether and just making the computer display a touchscreen? Check out the gallery below and let us know what you think.

Tri-Fold Design For MacBook Mini

... a large multi-touch trackpad on the third flap. When you’re only doing some web surfing and don’t intend on typing anything, you can rely solely on the trackpad. This is almost as ridiculous as the MacBook Wheel, but at least you can have the regular keyboard when you need it. I’m not entirely sure how that third flap would work though. Looking at the provided images, it looks like the trackpad is on both sides of the last flap, doesn’t it? Tri-Fold Design For MacBook Mini Source: techeblog.com
