... They note that there are a few key differences on this 17-inch version; the first is its non-removable battery. The second is the laptop’s non-glossy-display is now available as an option.
We are not sure if these features are enough to persuade users to upgrade to the new Apple McBook Pro 17-inch model. The same unibody construction has been used on the 17-inch as on the 15-inch model, and this large version still only weighs in at a little over 6.6 pounds.
