We've seen our fair share of phony iPhones here before, but this is the first time I've seen a company take a more ingenious approach to copycatting and, I dare say, I wouldn't mind if the real iPhone took a page out of this guy's book one day. I introduce you to the iPhone Flip. The phone ...

Fake iPhone Clamshell Phone
Tech Blog —
... Priced at $100, this fake iPhone clamshell phone from China features a ".3MP camera, a 2.6-inch screen with a 240 x 320 resolution, the ability to play mp3s and mp4s and some 'built-in' games." Click here for first picture in gallery.
Also note the plastic "brushed aluminum", almost-but-not-quite Macbook Air look and the adorable Apple icon on the front. It lights up.

iPhone Flip launches in China
T3.com All —
... not, our Chinese isn't what it could be. Anyway, who cares - this is a phone for posing with rather than using. You might even get a particularly stupid footballer offering you a small fortune for your 'prototype' handset, so the $100 price tag could well prove a shrewd investment. Although we wouldn't recommend giving your credit card number to a company specialising in knock-off phones, obviously. And if Apple is reading this, maybe food for thought? Fake iPhone Flip doesn’t look that bad
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis —
... talking about serious copyright infringements here, something we at IntoMobile NEVER support.
As for the specs, the clamshell sports a VGA camera, 2.6-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) screen, media player and some games. It measures 105×53x17 mm, and weighs roughly 110 grams. The best thing is the price - $100, but again, we’re not saying you should buy it. The quality just isn’t there…
