HTC’s presser did not say anything about the new Android phone. But fret not because our leak messiah has scooped once again to bring the deets of HTC G2. G2 is called the HTC Magic (or maybe Pioneer) and will be released exclusively for the European Vodafone customers. The phone will do away with the QWERTY keypad and will have only the touchscreen interface, along with Cupcake Android OS, Wi-Fi, GPS, HSPA and 3.2 megapixel camera.

Obviously packing the Google Android platform, the HTC Magic will be exclusive to Vodafone in Europe and will feature a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G via HSPA, GPS, WiFI and Cupcake, something the T-Mobile G1 user is still missing out on.
The HTC Magic hasn’t received an official announcement as yet but no doubt if it doesn’t get announced at MWC 2009 it just may at CTIA, so as soon as we hear more we’ll pass it along to our readership.
