Microsoft Fix for Dead 30GB Zune's was Easy
I4U News — ... screen flooded in on New Year's Eve. Apparently, the issue was related to leap year. Microsoft announced a fix for the device, which was rather simple. Owners needed to let the battery go dead, wait until the New Year, and then charge the battery back up. Once this was done, the players sprang to life and all was well on the digital music front.
