MIMO 7-inch LCD monitors for menus, widgets and contact lists

... MIMO display (Korea only, for now) seems like just the ticket. A small, 7" LCD that connects to your computer as an additional monitor via a spare USB port, the MIMO is surprisingly cheap. The basic, screen-only version is only $78, where as the more advanced UM-750 features a touchscreen, TV tuner and built-in webcam for only $147.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this hits the States... and by the time it does, it adds in Mac support.

... real state—perfect to make your awesome computer rig even more awesome. The good: They only require a USB 2.0 port. The better: As you can see in the gallery, they can rotate and one model is a touchscreen. The best: they are really cheap. And the bad? Sadly, they are Korea-only for now. The basic model is the UM-710, which goes for just $78. The UM-750 adds a touchscreen, a built-in webcam, and a DMB television tuner for only $147. We want. [Funshop KoreaTechnabob]

... toolbars and media players. The UM-750, meanwhile, adds a touchscreen layer, webcam and integrated DMB TV tuner.
Of course, that won’t be much good if you’re not in Korea, but since the two MIMO displays are currently only available in that country there won’t be too many disappointed children come Christmas morning. The UM-710 retails at 98,000 KRW ($78) while the UM-750 is a surprisingly low 183,000 KRW ($147) through Funshop Korea.

... free. Park weather widgets on it, an RSS feed, reminders — it's adding screen real estate to a small, go-to area.
Best of all, these things are cheap. How's $78 for this 800x480 display sound? Spend $147 and you get the fancier UM-750, adding touchscreen capability, webcam and DMB television reception (which works only in Korea thus far) to the mix. Available in Korea now, let's hope these babies make their way stateside before too long.

Nanovision's MIMO 7-inch displays are strangely cute, sort of useful
Engadget —
... hook up thanks to a USB interface. Two models will hit the streets of Korea in just a couple of days, and they both work in either landscape or portrait mode at 800 x 480. The UM-750 (₩183,000 or $152), has a webcam, touchscreen, and TV tuner, but its feature-challenged brother the UM-710 (₩98,000 or $81) doesn't. Unfortunately, they're only planned for Korea at the moment, so everyone else will have to consider a smaller but considerably less adorable alternative. MIMO 7-inch Display Utilizes USB To Connect To Computer

... just for the monitors controls), I’d opt for the former, which costs just $78. The good news is that you can connect the MIMO monitors to your computer via USB, which is great for someone running a laptop setup with one external display port.
Resolution maxes out at 800×480, which is more than suitable for a monitor of this size and the included stand appears to feature a swivel control for landscape or vertical orientations.
