... has been talking about the new Spirit interface to be used in these new systems.
The interface was already in use in Europe by Navman (Navman S series) which was recently bought by Mio. Also called ‘glide touch interface’, Spirit allows users to tap and slide the touchscreen to open, dock, pan and scroll menus, similar to the latest MP3 players and smartphones.
