Motorola ZN300 Press images leaked
Tech Ticker —   Mobile review has leaked some images of Motorola’s upcoming phone, ZN300. The brick style slider phone looks good but with the set of features, it won’t be hurting its competitors. From the specs that were out last month, it will have a 3MP camera, QVGA screen, 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD slot. Although, we are not sure but the D-pad looks to be touch sensitive. First-run Nokia 5800 XpressMusic handsets have defective speakers!
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis — ... The secondary replacement issues reported by Mobile-Review were related to the first phones and, at that moment, there was no solution to the problem, so the defective speakers were replaced with speakers from the same (at that time)  supplier. When the problem was studied more carefully and it became clear that the new speakers (from the same supplier) do not solve the problem, the supplier was changed, the plants started putting new speakers in, and service centers started getting speakers from the new supplier too. I can not name the supplier of the ...

Motorola i465 Press Pictures Leaked
Ubergizmo — Motorola has certainly been floundering due to the global financial crises of late. That being said, it has still managed to come up with its iDEN phone that has a full QWERTY keyboard. Press release pictures of this phone have conveniently appeared online, so you’ll probably want to take a good look at the device. Specifications are nothing to shout about with a VGA camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and of course, iDEN PTT (Push-to-Talk) which is certainly quite fun. Will carriers want to pick up this phone? From Uberphones. Photo from Mobilereview Permalink: ...

Screenshot: Nokia’s Maemo 5 looks nothing like Symbian, and that’s a good thing
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis — ... The screenshot below (click to enlarge) was captured by Eldar Murtazin of Mobile-Review, and was posted on his personal blog. It doesn’t reveal too much to be considered interesting. A new way to manage connections, new icons, new color scheme. This is however something we’re going to be seeing a lot more of in 2 weeks at Nokia (NYSE: NOK) World if the rumors hold true about the Finnish company launching their first mobile phone running the Linux powered Maemo 5 operating system. Oh how far we’ve come since the days of the 770 ( ...

Video: Motorola Milestone (GSM Droid) found again, this time in Russia
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis — ... reason you have for liking the Droid, we can all admit that it’s the first time in a long time anyone has actually paid attention to Motorola. Late last night Will discovered that the name of the GSM Motorola Droid is “Milestone”. A bit too long, a bit too much ego, but it suits the device just right. I first spotted Milestone last Wednesday in Vietnam, and another video has hit the net this morning, courtesy of @eldarmurtazin from Mobile-Review, showing the Milestone one more time: ...

Motorola MILESTONE does what DROIDon't
Engadget — We've already seen the MILESTONE showing off multitouch capability, something the DROID clearly lacks in the States despite the fact that Android 2.0 rocks kernel support for it -- and now we've got another smoking gun: the official spec sheet. A quick glance at Motorola's tech ...

Motorola DROID's built-in apps don't have multitouch support, third-party stuff is another story
Engadget — ... thus far been willing to adequately justify. Where you can experience the magic of pinch-and-zoom is in third-party apps written to take advantage of Android 2.0's new APIs (Phandroid demos it on a fresh version of Picsay, for instance), but at the end of the day, that's a consolation prize -- we still want a spin-free explanation of why this was all turned off for the base apps. Sony Ericsson Kurara packs PowerVR and Cortex A8
SlashGear — Sony Ericsson’s as-yet unannounced Kurara touchscreen smartphone has stayed still for long enough to get a non-blurry photo, and as you might have guessed it’s mobile-review’s Eldar Murtazin responsible for the shot.  The Kurara was originally described as a more entry-level version of the Sony Ericsson Satio, but according to Mutazin there’s actually a whole lot more to it than that: squeezed inside is an ARM Cortex A8 CPU complete with PowerVR GPU. That gets 256MB of RAM to play with, which is plenty for a mobile device.  Eldar says ...
