A Apple anunciou hoje que seus consumidores já podem comprar e alugar sucessos do cinema em alta definição na iTunes Store, incluindo títulos como Quantum of Solace (no dia 24) e Twilight (já a partir de depois de amanhã).
O custo de compra da versão em HD será de US$20, sendo que os filmes em alta definição no iTunes Movie Rentals sairão por US$5, disponíveis sempre 30 dias após o seu lançamento.

... It seems that if you’re going to spend $20 on the movie, you may as well just get the Blu-ray. After all, it doesn’t take up any space and you get all those lovely bonus features. Plus you don’t get the extra-compressed version. Then again, why leave the couch at all? If only Kozmo.com were still around, then we could have the best of both worlds.
