MSI WIndbox makes the MSI Wind VESA mountable

... a stock MSI Wind without a display, meant to be strapped behind a VESA display of somekind. Otherwise, the specs are the same as always, for which I have set up a TextPander script: 1.6 GHz Atom, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. It's actually a rather cool idea, but there's no HDMI out, and as Slashgear notes, that is a missed trick: this could be marketed as a very cheap Media Center Expander if it had one. Price when released will be roughly at around $260.

... gama medirá 300×240x65mm y tendrá un procesador de 1.6GHz Intel Atom, 1 ó 2GB de RAM, 160 o 250GB de HD, WiFi y conexión Ethernet.
También poseerá lector de tarjetas de memoria, tres puertos USB 2.0, entrada y salida de audio 7.1 y salida VGA. Vendrá con Windows XP Home y pesará sólo 500g.
Estará disponible desde el primer cuatrimestre del 2009 y se espera que cueste aproximadamente US$258, aunque esto no fue todavía confirmado por la gente de MSI.
