It’s been only a couple weeks since I discovered Arduino, an open source microcontroller platform. I was looking for a cheap interface between my laptop and electronic circuits. Arduino with its price $35 and easy to use development environment was the best choice. So after getting my ...

NEW! The Arduino Duemilanove has been upgraded to
a more powerful microcontroller: the ATmega328. Its fully compatible
with the previous ATmega168, but with twice the memory. That includes flash memory for storing sketches (32 KB instead of 16 ...

I'm digging cardboard-retro feel of Kamil 's BeatSequencer
v1.0. Though the front panel may have some mechanical
stability issues, It reminds me of a miniaturized vintage computing giant. FYI - Those 24 LEDs are handled via Arduino's shift ...

Magnetic levitation with Arduino
MAKE Magazine —
... The result is not completely perfect, some small oscillations are still noticeable. I think that I achieved the limitations given by the Arduino A/D converter. As you can see, it's currently a magnetic pull instead of the familiar push levitation - but research continues. In order to get feedback/response to the sensor fast enough, he made some key changes to the Arduino IDE's serial library. More info plus discussion in the comments of the relevant project's blog entry.

This is a great example of the power and flexibility of the Arduino . The project uses a hacked alarm clock and an Arudino to automatically set the wake time based on a Google calendar. This is such a great solution for anyone with a schedule that varies from day to day. Check out the link ...

My friend Usman and I are collaborating long-distance on an Arduino project. He's a software guy (by which I mean he's a guy actually made of software. OK, not really, but almost) and doesn't have time right now to get up to speed on hardware. So, I send him bits of hardware as needed. This is ...

After scoring some bargain-priced touch screens, James set to work on building the Touchduino - I used two analog pins and one digital pin for this project. I wired the touch screen to the 3v pin, the Gnd pin and the analog pins 0 and 1 set to input. In the code (digital) Pin 3 is set to ...
