This maker decided to put an old $20 DVD player into the body of an NES in order to give his movie watching some gamer street cred. We especially like the explosed buttons on the circuit board glued to the top of this hack.

... There are just so many ways to recycle your dusty old NES console, and one of them would be to convert it into a DVD player. All you need to do is remove the innards of the NES console and replace it with cheap parts of a standard DVD player and you're good to go. Of course, a certain amount of DIY knowledge is recommended for a procedure like this, but then again this isn't rocket science to begin with. The difference between the other modder and this one. This guy was bored one night and decided to do it. The other modder actually had plans worked out. Lesson of the day, just because you can do a mod doesn’t mean you should. At least if it looks like this, don’t claim it and don’t brag about it on the internet.
