Sprint and Clearwire Launch WiMax in a Slew of Markets
Phone Scoop - Latest News — ... of their WiMax wireless broadband network in a handful of markets. The largest two markets launched are Chicago, Illinois, and Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas. A number of markets are now live in North Carolina as well, including Cary, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, High Point, Raleigh, and Winston-Salem. Residents of these markets will be able to purchase laptop dongles that can access the WiMax network and Sprint's EVDO 3G network in areas where WiMax isn't available. more info at Sprint Nextel ...
